I was having a similar issue. The Intel graphics were continuously crashing multiple times per day for no apparent reason. Amazon.com seemed to crash it quite often and sometimes certain apps. Unfortunately I did not look into gaining a connecting thread as I did not have the time; a reboot usually corrected it. I went into the Intel HD Graphics control panel item and turned off nearly every 'feature' under 3D and Display. No crashes since. Hopefully this helps someone out there using the Intel HD Graphics 4600 on Windows 10.
